The Nashua Education Foundation currently offers the following grant programs:
1. Mini Grants (complete Application Cover Sheet and Mini-Grant Proposal Form A)
Proposals will be accepted for projects that creatively enhance the education and instruction of students in any academic discipline. Grant money may not be used for operating expenses, such as for payment of substitute teachers or travel.
Eligibility: Applications may be submitted by any Nashua School District educator or any community member in partnership with an educator for students in grades pre-K-12. Grants may range from $100 to a maximum of $250.
2. Program Grants (complete Application Cover Sheet and NEF Grant Proposal – form B, rev A)
Proposals will be accepted for projects that creatively enhance the education and instruction of students in any academic discipline. Grant money may not be used for operating expenses, such as for payment of substitute teachers or travel. These grants should be larger in scale than a mini grant and are for projects that could involve multiple classrooms, cross disciplines, or involve more than one school.
Eligibility: Applications may be submitted by any Nashua School District educator or any community member in partnership with an educator for students in grades pre-K-12. Grants may range from $250 to a maximum of $5,000.
NEF Mini Grant Proposal — Form A, rev A will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Decisions on those grant will be made within 2 months.
NEF Program Grant Proposal – form B, rev A will be accepted twice a year:
Fall: Application deadline November 15th / Grants awarded on December 15th
Spring: Application deadline April 15th / Grants awarded on June 15th
